around and about the english riviera..........

Tor Bay is known as the English Riviera - and with good reason. The resort enjoys some of the finest weather in England and is an area of great natural beauty. Palm trees and other tropical plants thrive and there are many beaches and small sandy coves to enjoy.
Shopping and entertainment facilities in Torquay itself are excellent and nearby there is a wealth of attractions for all age groups including gardens and parks, Paignton Zoo, Babbacombe Model Village, and the Dart Valley Railway.

Torquay has many good restaurants, pubs and night clubs. The Riviera Centre is just 300yds away from the Red House Hotel and Maxton Lodge.

Torquay also provides a convenient base for the more adventurous to explore Devon and Cornwall with a wealth of un-spoilt beaches and coves, picturesque fishing villages and major attractions like the National Marine Aquarium less then an hour away in Plymouth or the Eden Project in St.Austell less than two hours away.
